MEDIA AND PUBLICITY
Media and publicity are integral parts of the SAJA working committee, playing a crucial role in communication, building awareness, and disseminating information about the alliance to a wide global audience.

Our Media team has been using different channels and platforms to effectively communicate and distribute information to the public since its establishment in Cote D’Ivoire. This encompasses both traditional forms of media, such as magazines and radio, as well as digital media platforms like websites, social media, blogs, and online news outlets.
We consider our Publicity efforts to be a distinct aspect of media exposure, with the aim of attracting attention from both the media and the general public. The goal is to create positive awareness and interest from the Jewish community by generating news stories or features about the SAJA organization, the lives of African Jews, ongoing economic projects, or Jewish events. We are confident that our media coverage and publicity efforts can assist SAJA in reaching a wider audience and enhancing recognition for our African alliance. This will allow us to effectively communicate our values, goals, and future aspirations.
Consistent media coverage can greatly benefit our organization and Jewish communities by generating support for our initiatives, ongoing projects, and causes. It can also have an impact on public perception regarding the significance of aiding African Jewish communities in their efforts to rebuild and develop themselves. The main goal of the Media and Publicity Working Committee is to facilitate direct engagement with SAJA members across Africa. We aim to achieve this by utilizing various channels to promote open communication, gather feedback, and address any inquiries or concerns.
We have plans to develop and manage the following components for SAJA:
1. Logo
2. WhatsApp Community
3. Facebook Page
4. Discord Server Channel
5. YouTube Channel
6. Website (including translations in French, Hebrew, and other African languages)
7. SAJA Blog
8. SAJA Magazine
Additionally, we are actively collaborating with various working committee groups across Sub-Saharan Africa to gain insight into their initiatives, thoroughly document their efforts, and effectively showcase them in the public sphere.
