Ethiopia shares its borders with several countries: Eritrea to the north, Djibouti and Somalia to the east, Kenya to the south, South Sudan to the west, and Sudan to the northwest. Its location in the Horn of Africa places it in close proximity to the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
